Snooozzn & Mini Loops Counseling Agreement & Privacy Policy
At Snooozzn, in partnership with Mini Loops, we are committed to protecting your privacy, providing transparent counseling services, and empowering you with financial guidance. This Counseling Agreement & Privacy Policy outlines the terms of our services and your rights as a participant. By engaging with Snooozzn’s or Mini Loops’ services, you acknowledge and accept the following terms. Your verbal acceptance will be required at the time of your counseling session.
COUNSELING AGREEMENT
1. Financial Counseling & Action Plan
I understand that Snooozzn, in collaboration with Mini Loops, will provide a personal financial consultation tailored to my needs. Following the session, I may receive a written action plan outlining recommendations for managing my finances, including potential referrals to third-party organizations for additional support.
2. Scope of Counseling & No Legal Advice
Snooozzn and Mini Loops offer guidance on budgeting, debt management, credit improvement, and homeownership strategies. However, I acknowledge that:
✅ Counselors cannot provide legal, tax, or investment advice.
✅ I am responsible for my own financial decisions and outcomes based on the guidance provided.
3. Non-Liability & Hold Harmless Agreement
I release and hold Snooozzn, Mini Loops, their employees, agents, and volunteers harmless from any claim, suit, action, or demand made by myself, my creditors, or any third party related to the advice or counseling services provided. Neither Snooozzn nor Mini Loops guarantees specific financial outcomes, as results depend on individual decisions and external factors.
4. Understanding of Financial Impact
I acknowledge that:
✔ Participation in a Debt Management Plan (DMP) or other financial programs may impact my credit score and ability to obtain credit in the future.
✔ Nonpayment of debt may result in increased finance charges, collection actions, or legal proceedings by my creditors.
✔ Fees may apply for certain debt management or homeownership programs, which help support Snooozzn and Mini Loops as nonprofit organizations funded through grants, creditor contributions, and service fees.
PRIVACY POLICY
5. Confidentiality & Use of Personal Information
I understand that my personal financial information will be kept strictly confidential and used only for the following purposes:
✅ Counseling and education services provided by Snooozzn and Mini Loops.
✅ Internal research and quality improvement efforts to enhance client services.
✅ Credit report verification, if authorized, for counseling purposes.
6. Third-Party Evaluations & Research
I acknowledge that my participation in financial counseling may be used for confidential research. Additionally, I may be contacted by a neutral third party to evaluate the services provided.
7. Information Disclosure & Opt-Out Rights
Unless I choose to opt out, I understand that:
✔ Snooozzn may confirm my counseling participation and outcomes to my creditors if requested.
✔ If I was referred by a financial institution, the results of my session may be shared with the referring entity to assist me in achieving my financial goals.
✔ I can opt out of sharing my information at any time by contacting the Snooozzn Helpline.
8. Credit Report Access & Non-Impact on Score
I authorize Snooozzn to access my credit report for counseling verification purposes. I understand that:
✔ This inquiry will not negatively affect my credit score.
✔ My credit report information will not be shared with third parties without my explicit consent.
Limitation of Liability & Final Agreement
🔹 Neither Snooozzn nor Mini Loops is liable for financial outcomes resulting from counseling services. Clients retain full responsibility for decisions regarding debt, credit, and homeownership.
🔹 Snooozzn and Mini Loops do not guarantee loan approvals, credit score increases, or specific financial results—outcomes vary based on individual circumstances and lender policies.
🔹 Participation in financial counseling does not establish an attorney-client relationship, nor does it substitute for legal or professional financial advice.
By engaging in counseling services with Snooozzn or Mini Loops, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this Counseling Agreement & Privacy Policy.
